Wonderful wooden texture and charming old barns, Watters Smith Memorial State Park, Lost Creek, West Virginia in Harrison County.
Trying to find our way down winding country lanes, our GPS simply said "road" as we approached Watters Smith Memorial State Park, in a town called, poetically, Lost Creek, West Virginia. Glad we kept our sense of adventure and followed along since these barns were well worth the trip.

With two cameras and a bag of lenses, I was lost in my own little world as the white winter sun played across the surface of the wood, challenging me to concentrate on shape and texture.
Part of a series in black and white.
