A tidal salt marsh on a sunny spring day at high tide, a calm and soothing New England scenic landscape.
Taken in Niantic, East Lyme, Connecticut in early June. I've been photographing this particular marsh, a short walk from my family's beach cottage, for years. I've always found it so soothing to walk by this beautiful landscape. It holds childhood memories of canoeing there with my friends exploring many small deserted islands and countless long walks for more than half a century.
