Castle Hill Lighthouse an historic stone light house on Narragansett Bay during the blue hour sunset in silhouette against a golden yellow and orange sky with clouds tinged in colorful hues, Newport, Rhode Island, New England, USA. Sunlight shimmers on the waves in the sea.
The lighthouse was completed in 1890 and is still an active aid to navigation. Please see my Rhode Island and Lighthouses galleries for more fine art photographs of this lighthouse, one of my favorites.

I have been hooked on photography since age six when my grandmother, returning from a trip to Egypt, passed on her well-traveled Kodak Brownie camera as well as her wanderlust.
