Two empty blue metal chairs, Stockholm, Sweden.
I am often drawn to empty chairs. I guess I just love their simplicity and the sense of possibility they engender - a chance meeting, a place to relax, a romantic rendezvous.
I came upon these very modern chairs in Gamla Stan, the old city, and just loved the way they looked, especially juxtaposed against the ancient stone building. Swedish design and medieval architecture - a wonderful combination.
