Beautiful magnolia stellata (star Magnolia) tree branches and blossoms against the sky and clouds. This tree blooms in the early spring (in March) before the leaves form. It brightens our yard for a couple of weeks - gorgeous!
An earlier rectangular version of this photo appeared in a show entitled "Photographers of Northern Westchester" sponsored by the Croton Arts Council in April 2012, about a month after this photo was taken. That original matted and framed limited edition photo, printed on actual photo paper under the direction of the photographer, is available. Please contact me for details.

I have been hooked on photography since age six when my grandmother, returning from a trip to Egypt, passed on her well-traveled Kodak Brownie camera as well as her wanderlust. A travel, editorial and fine art photographer by profession, my images seek to shine a light on the reality around me and to evoke an emotional response.
