Description
The flower blossom of a jing orange okra plant, macro close up in a New York kitchen garden. The okra I planted last year was wonderful, great for gumbo as well as a cut cooked vegetable, and these amazing flowers, that bloomed so briefly, were a delightful bonus.

What a lovely blossom, I didn't realize okra flowers were so pretty.
Marianne Campolongo replied:
I planted okra because I read about the flowers - but loved the wonderful gumbo I made with the veggies - they were also great just sliced and steamed on their own.
