I love showing my fine art photography and seeing people react to it in person. I also love the idea of my art helping to soothe people in times of deep stress. Manhattan museums exhibits include a student show at the International Center of Photography back in 1989 and a recent multi-media exhibition on Hurricane Sandy in 2013 at The Museum of the City of New York. More offbeat but perhaps even more gratifying venues include the spa themed oncology waiting room at Westchester Medical Center in Vallhalla, New York where two of my sailboat images printed large on metal help to make the wait perhaps a little more bearable and inclusion in the permanent collection of photographs gracing the walls of Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, New York. Currently "Tarrytown Lighthouse and Tappan Zee Bridge" is on display in Rockland New York at the New York Thruway Association's Nyack Outreach Center, 142 Main St in Nyack in the juried exhibit "Bridging the Waters" featuring artwork in all media depicting the Tappan Zee Bridge. The show runs September -November 2014. I also have six "Postcards from the Sea" in a group show opening at the Riverfront Gallery at the Yonkers Public Library on November 1, 2014.
