The tower of the Stonington Lighthouse and keeper's house, with its beautiful granite stonework and arrow weathervane. Built in 1840, it was an active aid to navigation until 1899. Purchased by the Stonington Historical Society in 1927, it became the Old Lighthouse Museum. Stonington, Connecticut USA. From the tower you can view three states, Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island. Stonington is the only harbor in Connecticut on the Atlantic Ocean.
