Common reeds (Phragmites australis) in a saltwater marsh in Niantic Connecticut, USA, silhouetted against a dramatic sky just after sunset in the late spring, with pink and purple reflections in the water. The backwaters have been one of my favorite spots since I was a child and first went out in my friend's canoe in those waters. I love the view at all times of the day, but at sunset it is particularly spectacular.
