Don't you just love the beach? If you have seen my portfolio, you know that I do.
I’ve spent part of every summer since I was 10 here, at Black Point Beach in Niantic, Connecticut, and it is one of my favorite places to photograph. I love the landscape - the seascape - the backwaters - the flora and fauna - the boats and seashells…. and I hope it shows in my images.
Whether you need the perfect black and white photograph to enhance your contemporary decor, something bright and colorful to hang on the wall of your summer house, or you prefer an eclectic mix with some nautical flair, then check out both my Connecticut and my Beaches and Backwaters Galleries. I also have an entire gallery of images from OpSail 2012 for you tall ship lovers.
I have shot thousands of images in this area over the years, and I continue to add new ones to my portfolio. I am particularly excited about this one since it is part of a new group of seascapes taken with my mirrorless Sony A7rii. Using a 42MP full frame camera like the A7rii means I can offer photographs here up to 72”x42” (6’ x 4’) with exquisite fine detail. So, if you want a beautiful seascape to fill a large space, this is it. Of course, it will look equally lovely if you only have space for a small framed image. Enjoy!
