Description
Monongahela River during the blue hour just after sunset seen from the Caperton trail, Morgantown, West Virginia. Minutes later the beautiful colors of the sky, magically reflected in the water, turned dark.
The blue hour is my favorite time to shoot, especially when I am near a body of water, such as the Monongahela River seen here. It is both the easiest and most difficult time to shoot.
the world is so beautiful at that time, but since night photography changes moment to moment, it can also be the trickiest time. I recently wrote about how to take images during the magical blue hour here: https://greatescapepublishing.com/travel-photography/how-to-take-great-photos-at-blue-hour/
