Description
New sweet corn growing on a family farm in Niantic, Connecticut.
Great home decor to brighten up your kitchen or office decor for an agricultural company. Scotti's Farm is one I have visited since childhood since it is right near our family beach house. It has the best corn I've ever tasted (called butter and sugar corn, so sweet and delicious there is no need to add butter). In fact, it has spoiled me for anything else. When I buy extra at their farm stand on Sunday nights as I head back to New York, they tell me it won't be good if I do not eat it fresh, but it beats anything the supermarkets have to offer even after sitting in my fridge for days. I love that the Latin or scientific name for corn is zea mays. For sweet corn it is Zea saccharata or Zea rugosa. We ever got our first dog from Scotti's farm back when I was 10. One of my favorite places!
