Description
White Mulberry tree Morus alba overlooking the Hudson River in late spring early summer (early June) with the Hudson Highlands seen in the background. Kingsland Point Park, Sleepy Hollow, New York. The 18-acre Kingsland Point Park was one of the first parks developed by the Westchester County Parks Commission, in 1926. A Chinese import, the White Mulberry is often grown in Asia to feed silkworms which prefer its leaves. An oak and other trees are also seen to the right. VIntage textured painterly mixed media style. Another contemporary vintage style image and a straight photograph of this view are also in my portfolio.
